The LA Clippers signed restricted free agent Wang Zhizhi.  Dallas has 15
days to match the offer [and likely will].

Latrell Sprewell (NY) has a broken bone in his right hand and will have
surgery today (Tuesday).  He is expected to be out at least 6 weeks.

Austin Croshere (Ind) will miss the pre-season with a broken bone in his
right foot.

Hakeem Olajuwon (Tor) is excused from training camp due to a back injury 
and may retire.

Denver will retire a banner in honor of former head coach Doug Moe on
November 7.
