News from February 13.

Boston released Vin Baker.  Baker has missed 10 games due to his suspension
for violating his aftercare program and had a clause in his contract where
the team can void the contract after 10 games missed.  The Players
Association will filed a grievance on Baker's behalf contesting the
termination.

New York signed DerMarr Johnson for the rest of the season.

Pat Garrity (Orl) is expected to undergo surgery next week on his right
knee and will be out for the rest of the season.
