Chicago activated Marcus Fizer and placed Paul Shirley on IR with with a
bruised kidney.  Shirley and Jannero Pargo were signed for the rest of the
season.

New Orleans signed Maurice Carter to a 10-day contract.

Jaquan Hart (junior, Eastern Michigan, guard) declared himself eligible
for the NBA draft.
