The NBA named Yao Ming (Hou) and Lamar Odom (Mia) as Players of the Week.
Yao averaged 29.7 points and 8 rebounds as Houston went 2-1.  Odom averaged
23 points, 13.3 rebounds, and 7.7 assists as Miami went 2-1.

San Antonio signed Matt Carroll.

Atlanta signed Jason Collier to a 10-day contract.  Atlanta elected not to
signed Hiram Fuller to a 2nd 10-day contract.
