Phoenix signed 1st round draft pick (#17) Zarko Cabarkapa to a 3 year,
$3,938,400 contract with a 4th year worth $2,157,097 at the team's option.

Portland signed 1st round draft pick (#23) Travis Outlaw to a 3 year,
$3,034,800 contract with a 4th year worth $1,836,426 at the team's option.

In a plea bargain, Chris Webber (Sac) pleaded guilty to criminal contempt
for lying to a grand jury about receiving money from a booster while in
college.  Sentencing for the guilty plea is set for September 16 and he is
not expected to face jail time.
