News from December 2.

The NBA named Devin Harris (Dal) and Emeka Okafor (Cha) as Rookies of the
Month for November.  Harris averaged 8.6 points and 2.7 assists as Dallas 
went 10-6.  Okafor averaged 13.5 points and 10.1 rebounds as Charlotte went 
3-10.

The NBA named Nate McMillan (Sea) and Johnny Davis (Orl) as Coaches of the
Month for November.  Seattle went 13-3.  Orlando went 8-5.

Memphis named Mike Fratello as head coach.  Eric Musselman and Mitchell
Anderson were named as assistant coaches.  Lionel Hollins and John Welch
remain as assistants.  Assistants Hal Wissel, Brendan Brown, and Tony Barone
were moved to other positions in the team.

Cleveland activated Sasha Pavlovic and placed Dajuan Wagner on IR with
plantar fasciitis in his right foot.

Houston activated Reece Gaines and placed Tyronn Lue on IR with a sore right
knee.

Zoran Planinic (NJ) underwent surgery on his broken left hand and is out
indefinitely (the pins inserted will not be removed for 4 to 6 weeks).

Malik Allen (Mia) underwent back surgery and is expected to be out 6 to 8
weeks.

Dirk Nowitzki (Dal) had 53 points including 21-22 FT, 16 rebounds, 3 steals,
and 4 blocks.
Marquis Daniels (Dal) had 14 points including 6-9 FG and 8 rebounds.
Jerry Stackhouse (Dal) had 13 points on 3-12 FG and 7-10 FT, 7 rebounds, and
7 assists.
Jason Terry (Dal) had 14 points including 6-9 FG.
Tracy McGrady (Hou) had 48 points including 6-13 3-pointers, 9 rebounds, 9
assists, and 3 blocks.
Yao Ming (Hou) had 13 points including 4-15 FG, 14 rebounds including 6
offensive, and 3 steals.
Jim Jackson (Hou) had 17 points.
Dal shot 31-39 FT and Hou shot 13-20 FT.

LeBron James (Cle) had 17 points, 8 rebounds, 9 assists, and 5 turnovers.
Drew Gooden (Cle) had 10 points including 3-10 FG, 13 rebounds, and 4
