Jason Kidd (NJ) underwent successful surgery on his left knee.

Karl Malone (LAL) underwent arthroscopic surgery on his right knee.

Rodney Rogers (NJ) elected to opt-out of his contract and is a free agent.

Cleveland elected not to pick up their option year for Carlos Boozer, making
him a restricted free agent.  Cleveland says that they plan on making a long
term offer to Boozer.

Cleveland signed 1st round draft pick (#10) Luke Jackson to a 3 year,
$5,865,360 contract with a 4th year worth $2,666,637 at the team's option.

Miami picked up their team options for Wang Zhizhi and Malik Allen.

Miami made a qualifying offer to Rasual Butler, making him a restricted free
agent.

Latrell Sprewell (Min) elected not to opt-out of his contract and remains
with Minnesota.

Utah named Tyrone Corbin as an assistant coach.

Mark Warkentien resigned as Portland director of player personnel.

Chicago extended qualifying offers to Jamal Crawford and Linton Johnson,
making both restricted free agents.  Chicago did not extend a qualifying
