TRADE: In a sign-and-trade, New Jersey traded Kenyon Martin to Denver for
3 1st round draft picks.  Martin was first re-signed to a 7 year, $92.5 
million contract (maximum).  The 3 picks are:
  Denver's 2006 1st round draft pick (top 5 protected, top 2 protected for 
    2007)
  Philadelphia's 2005 1st round draft pick (top 8 protected, top 5 
    protected for 2006, top 2 protected for 2007) (which Denver received 
    in the James Posey 3-team trade)
  LA Clippers' 2005 1st round draft pick (top 14 protected) (which Denver 
    received from Orlando in the Don Reid trade and Orlando received from 
    the Clippers in the Corey Maggette trade).  

TRADE: In a sign-and-trade, Indiana traded Al Harrington to Atlanta for 
Stephen Jackson.  Jackson was first re-signed to a 6 year, $40 million
contract.

The LA Lakers re-signed Kobe Bryant to a 7 year, $136.4 million contract
(maximum).

Miami signed Michael Doleac to a 4 year, $12 million contract.

Memphis signed Shane Batter to a 6 year contract extension.

Portland signed Richie Frahm to a 1 year contract.

San Antonio re-signed Manu Ginobili to a 6 year, $52 million contract.

San Antonio signed Brent Barry to a 4 year, $21 million contract.

San Antonio signed 2nd round draft pick (#52) Romain Sato to a 3 year,
minimum contract.  Only part of the 1st season is guaranteed.
