TRADE: Toronto traded Aaron Williams to New Orleans for 2nd round draft
picks in 2006 and 2009.

The NBA announced the contestants for the Slam Dunk contest to take place
February 18 in Houston.  The contestants are: Andre Iguodala (Phi), Nate 
Robinson (NY), Josh Smith (Atl), and Hakim Warrick (Mem).

The NBA announced that New Orleans will play 35 games in Oklahoma City and
6 in New Orleans for 06-07.

Minnesota assigned Bracey Wright to the NBADL.

Phoenix activated Nikoloz Tskitishvili.

Washington activated Awvee Storey and placed Peter John Ramos on IL as he
was assigned to the NBADL.

Dallas activated Devin Harris and placed Josh Powell on IL.

Sacramento activated Bonzi Wells and placed Brad Miller on IL with a
broken right thumb.
