The NBA fined Richard Jefferson (NJ) $5,000 for kicking the ball into the
standings during Sunday's NJ-Mil games.

The NBA announced that Playoff Rosters will be set at 13 players, with 1
player announced as inactive prior to each game.  In the past, it was a
12-man set roster with no injury substitutions.  The playoff rosters are
due at 2 pm Central on April 20.

Chicago signed Randy Livingston for the rest of the season.

The LA Lakers assigned Von Wafer to the NBADL.

Wally Szczerbiak (Bos) underwent arthroscopic surgery on his left knee to
repair cartilage.

Minnesota activated Bracey Wright and placed Ricky Davis on IL with a
strained left groin.

San Antonio activated Sean Marks and placed Robert Horry on IL due to
personal reasons.

JR Pinnock (junior, George Washington, guard) and Quincy Douby (junior,
Rutgers, guard) declared themselves eligible for the NBA draft.  [thanks
