cash.

Atlanta exercised their 06-07 option for Royal Ivey.

Boston released Orien Greene.

Miami picked up their 06-07 option for Jason Kapono.

James Posey (Mia) elected not to opt out of his contract and, thus,
remains with Miami for 06-07.

Minnesota exercised their 06-07 option for Bracey Wright.

Minnesota extended a qualifying offer to Justin Reed, making him a
restricted free agent.

New Jersey elected not to pick their 06-07 option for Clifford Robinson,
making him a free agent.

New Jersey released Scott Padgett.

Eddie House (Pho) elected to opt-out of his contract and is now a free
agent.

Portland claimed Nikoloz Tskitishvili off of waivers, who Phoenix
apparently released a few days ago.

Sacramento exercised their 07-08 option for Francisco Garcia.

Utah exercised their 06-07 option for Keith McLeod.

The Free Agency Date is today (July 1), but it also begins the July
Moratorium.  Teams may begin negotiating with (veteran) free agents, but
can not sign them until July 12.  [Teams may sign draft picks and rookie
free agents.]
