TRADE: In a sign-and-trade, the LA Clippers first re-signed Marko Jaric to
a 6 year, $40 million contract and then traded Jaric and Lionel Chalmers
to Minnesota for Sam Cassell and a 2006 1st round draft pick (lottery
protected).

Detroit named Sidney Lowe and Don Zierden as assistant coaches and
retained Igor Kokoskov as an assistant coach.

Miami signed 1st round draft pick (#29) Wayne Simien to a 2 year contract
with 2 more years at the team's option.

Miami signed Gerald Fitch.

Milwaukee re-signed Dan Gadzuric to a 6 year, $36 million contract.

Philadelphia released Aaron McKie.  McKie was released using the amnesty
clause.

Sacramento signed Shareef Abdur-Rahim to a 5 year, $29.3 million contract.

The LA Clippers signed James Singleton on Thursday to a 2 year contract,
