Memphis majority owner (70%) Michael Heisley has reached an agreement to
sell the team to a group headed by Brian Davis.  The sale of the team has
to be approved by the NBA Board of Governors.

Boston re-signed Michael Olowokandi to a non-guaranteed contract.

Charlotte re-signed Melvin Ely to a 1 year, $3.3 million contract 
(Charlotte's qualifying offer to Ely; Ely will be an unrestricted free 
agent next summer).

Chicago signed Andre Barrett, Eric Chenowith, Scott Merritt, Luke
Schensher, and Jeff Varem.

Denver signed Larry Ayuso, Anthony Carter, Antoine Hood, and Corey
Williams.

Detroit signed Will Blaylock, Rick Rickert, and Rob Griffin.

Golden State signed Matt Barnes, Dijon Thompson, and Anthony Roberson.

The LA Lakers signed Mamadou N'diaye and Marcus Douthit.

Miami signed Antonio Burks.

Minnesota signed Vin Baker, Paul Shirley, and Tyrone Ellis.

New Jersey signed Darvin Ham, Awvee Storey, Matt Walsh, and Brandon
Bowman.

New York signed Elton Brown, Nikoloz Tskitishvili, Milone Clark, and Paul
Miller.

Orlando signed Jackie Manuel and Kasib Powell.

Seattle signed Denham Brown, Kenny Adeleke, Desmon Farmer, Milt Palacio,
and Kareem Rush.

Utah signed Brian Chase, Hiram Fuller, Paul Millsap, Roger Powell, Tyler

Training camp has begun for all teams.  The first pre-season game is
October 5.  The 06-07 regular season starts October 31.
