DJ Mbenga (Dal) is expected to be out at least 2 weeks with a strained
tendon in his left foot.

Darius Songaila (Was) is expected to undergo surgery for a herniated disc
and is expected to then be out 3 months.

Chicago signed Kirk Hinrich to a 5 year, $47.5 million contract extension.

The LA Lakers signed Brian Cook to a 3 year, $10.5 million contract
extension.

Toronto signed T.J. Ford to a 4 year, $33 million contract extension.  The
4th year is at the player's option.

Toronto exercised their 07-08 option for Kris Humphries.

Sacramento released Loren Woods.
