Kobe Bryant (LAL) underwent arthroscopic surgery on his right knee to
remove scar tissue and loose cartilage.  He is expected to be out 8 to 12
weeks.

Washington signed head coach Eddie Jordan to a 3 year, $12 million
contract extension.  Jordan is now signed through 09-10.
