Minnesota re-signed Justin Reed to a 3 year, $4.5 million contract with
the 3rd year at the player's option.

San Antonio signed Francisco Elson to a 2 year, $6 million contract.

The NBA announced some new rules for 06-07.  For the playoff seeding, the
3 division winners and the team with the next best record in the
conference will be seeded #1-#4 with the order determined by record.
Postseason rosters will have 15 players with 3 declared inactive prior to
each game (same as the regular season).  If a team has 2 60 second
timeouts left in the last 2 minutes of the 4th quarter or overtime, one of
the timeouts will be reduced to a 20 second timeout.  For overtime, teams
will now have 2 60 second timeouts and 1 20 second timeout - an unused
regulation 20 second timeout no longer carries over in to overtime.
