Dallas signed Pops Mensah-Bonsu to a 2 year contract with the 2nd year at
the team's option.

Washington signed DeShawn Stevenson to a 2 year, minimum contract with 
the 2nd year at the player's option.

Al Jefferson (Bos) underwent arthroscopic surgery on his right ankle.

Team USA removed Amare Stoudemire from the 2006 team.  The roster now has
14 players and 2 more need to be removed before the World Championship
Tournament starts.
