Yes, I finally returned from my _long_ vacation (during which I had
almost no internet access).  Thanks so much to Jed Tai for keeping track
of most of what went on while I was gone - fortunately things weren't too
busy NBA-wise.  My summer vacations are over, so things should get back 
to normal (and no more long absences for a while).  Training camp for 
most teams start October 2 (with that day being a media day and the real 
camp starting the next day).  Preseason starts October 5 with games
overseas (games in the US start October 9).  The 2006-07 regular season 
starts November 1.  Here's the NBA news that occurred while I was gone.  
Please let me know of any other news/transactions from August 19 to 
September 20 that I'm missing.
