News from January 22.

The NBA named Baron Davis (GS) and Gerald Wallace (Cha) as Players of the 
Week for the week ending January 20.  Davis averaged 26.3 points, 5
rebounds, 7 assists, and 4.5 steals as Golden State went 3-1.  Wallace 
averaged 29 points, 8 rebounds, and 3 steals as Charlotte went 3-1.

Atlanta suspended Zaza Pachulia for 1 game for conduct detrimental to the
team.

Tests determined that the testicular tumor surgically removed from Nene
(Den) was malignant.  Tests also showed that the cancer was isolated.  
Nene remains out indefinitely.

Shaquille O'Neal (Mia) is expected to be out at least 2 weeks with
recurring pain in his left hip and leg.

Stephon Marbury (NY) underwent surgery on his left ankle to remove bone
spurs and is out indefinitely.

Sacramento activated Justin Williams and placed Kenny Thomas on IL.

Andrew Bogut (Mil) had 19 points including 9-16 FG and 13 rebounds
including 5 offensive.
Michael Redd (Mil) had 28 points, 5 rebounds, and 5 assists.
Maurice Williams (Mil, sprained left finger) did not play.
