TRADE: In a 3-team trade, Cleveland acquired Ben Wallace, Joe Smith, Wally
Szczerbiak, Delonte West, and Chicago's 2009 2nd round draft pick and 
traded away Larry Hughes, Drew Gooden, Cedric Simmons, Shannon Brown, Ira 
Newble, and Donyell Marshall; Chicago acquired Larry Hughes, Drew Gooden, 
Cedric Simmons, and Shannon Brown and traded away Ben Wallace, Joe Smith, 
Adrian Griffin, and a 2009 2nd round draft pick; and Seattle acquired Ira 
Newble, Donyell Marshall, and Adrian Griffin and traded away Wally 
Szczerbiak and Delonte West.

TRADE: In a 3-team trade, New Orleans acquired Bonzi Wells and Mike James
and traded away Bobby Jackson, Adam Haluska, Marcus Vinicius, and cash;
Houston acquired Bobby Jackson, Adam Haluska, and the rights to Sergei
Lishouk and traded away Mike James, Bonzi Wells, the draft rights to
Malick Badiane, and cash; and Memphis acquired Marcus Vinicius, the draft
rights to Malick Badiane, and cash and traded away the draft rights to
Sergei Lishouk.  New Orleans and Houston also agreed to swap 2008 2nd
round draft picks if New Orleans' pick is higher than Houston's.

TRADE: Denver traded Von Wafer to Portland for Taurean Green.

TRADE: Toronto traded Juan Dixon to Detroit for Primoz Brezec.

TRADE: Minnesota traded Gerald Green to Houston for Kirk Snyder, a 2010
2nd round draft pick, and cash.

The trade deadline has passed.  None of the traded players played in
Thursday's games.

Seattle released Brent Barry.

Daniel Gibson (Cle) is expected to be out 4 to 6 weeks with a sprained
left ankle.

Seattle activated Kevin Durant and placed Francisco Elson on IL.

San Antonio placed Kurt Thomas on IL.

Minnesota activated Theo Ratliff and placed Antoine Walker on IL.
