News from March 10.

The NBA named Tracy McGrady (Hou) and Jason Richardson (Cha) as Players of
the Week for the week ending March 9.  McGrady averaged 32.3 points, 5
rebounds, and 7.7 assists as Houston went 3-0.  Richardson averaged 28.5
points and 6.5 rebounds as Charlotte went 4-0.

Golden State assigned Patrick O'Bryant to the NBADL and recalled Kosta
Perovic from the NBADL.

Atlanta signed Jeremy Richardson for the rest of the season.

Miami released Smush Parker.

Dallas activated Juwan Howard and placed Devean George on IL with back
spasms.

New York activated Zach Randolph and placed Eddy Curry on IL with torn
cartilage in his right knee.

Miami placed Dwyane Wade on IL.  Miami announced that Wade would not 
play the rest of the season due to knee pain.

Boston activated Sam Cassell and placed Brian Scalabrine on IL.
