The NBA named Amare Stoudemire (Pho) and Antawn Jamison (Was) as Players
of the Week for the week ending March 16.  Stoudemire averaged 32 points
and 11.3 rebounds as Phoenix went 3-0.  Jamison averaged 25.3 points and
10.7 rebounds as Washington went 3-0.

Eddy Curry (NY) underwent arthroscopic surgery on his right knee to remove
torn cartilage.  He is out 4 to 6 weeks.

Portland assigned Josh McRoberts to the NBADL.

Chicago activated Demetris Nichols and Chris Duhon.

Memphis activated Darko Milicic and placed Andre Brown on IL.
