The Sporting News announced that Danny Ainge (Bos) was named as Executive 
of the Year in their polling of 47 league executives.  Ainge received 18 
votes.  Mitch Kupchak (LAL) received 12 votes and Jeff Bower (NO) received
12 votes.  [The NBA does not conduct a ballot for Exec of the Year.]

Milwaukee named Kelvin Sampson, Jim Boylan, Lionel Hollins, and Joe Wolf
as assistant coaches.  Assistant Bill Peterson was retained from the 07-08
staff.

Toronto exercised their 08-09 option for Jamario Moon.

Lorenzo Wade (junior, San Diego State, forward) withdrew his name from the
