Detroit activated Chauncey Billups and placed Walter Herrmann on IL.

The NBA held the draft lottery, which determines the top 3 draft picks.  
Chicago was the big winner as they won the lottery and will draft #1
[you should go buy a lottery ticket, Ken].  Chicago had the 9th worst 
record in 07-08.  Miami, who had the worst record, will draft #2 
(actually falling a place from record-wise).  Minnesota will draft #3 
(the same place they would have drafted without the lottery).  The NBA 
draft is June 26.
