Orlando has reportedly reached a maximum contract agreement with Seattle
free agent Rashard Lewis.

Detroit has reportedly reached a 5 year, $60 million contract agreement
with Chauncey Billups.

San Antonio has reportedly reached a 2 year, minimum contract agreement
with Jacque Vaughn.

San Antonio has reportedly reached a 3 year contract agreement with
Fabricio Oberto.

The contracts can not be formally signed until the July Moratorium ends
on July 11.

The LA Lakers signed 1st round draft pick (#19) James Crittenton to a 2
year, $2,666,760 contract with 2 more years worth $3,753,917 at the team's
option.

Indiana signed Kareem Rush, Stephen Graham, and Andre Owens to
non-guaranteed contracts.  The 3 will play in the team's rookie-free agent
camp.

Orlando named Bob Beyer, Steve Clifford, Patrick Ewing, and Brendan Malone
as assistant coaches.

Washington named Tom Thibodeau as an assistant coach.

Memphis named Andy Greer as an assistant coach.

Sacramento fired assistant coaches Scott Brooks, Brendan O'Connor, Mark
Hughes, and Clay Moser.

Former NBA player Jimmy Walker died at age 63 from lung cancer.  He played
9 season in the NBA from 67-68 - 75-76, including 5 seasons with Detroit.
