offer sheet.  Houston has 7 days to match the offer.

The LA Lakers re-signed DJ Mbenga.

San Antonio signed 1st round draft pick (#26) George Hill to a 2 year,
$2,087,880 contract with 2 more years at the team's option worth
$3,243,520.

San Antonio signed Salim Stoudamire.

Chucky Atkins (Den) underwent arthroscopic surgery on his right knee to
repair torn cartilage and remove loose bodies.  He is expected to be out 6
weeks.
