News from January 14.

The NBA named DeMar DeRozan (Tor) and Eric Gordon (LAC) to participate in
the "Dunk-In" for All-Star weekend.  The two will dunk-off during halftime
of Saturday's Feb. 13 Rookie-Sophomore game and the winner will compete in
the real Slam Dunk Contest on Saturday night.  The remaining Slam Dunk
contestants have yet to be named.

Utah activated C.J. Miles and placed Koufos Kosta on IL.

Luol Deng (Chi) had 25 points including 9-10 FT.
Joakim Noah (Chi) had 15 points, 11 rebounds, and 4 blocks.
Derrick Rose (Chi) had 17 points and 8 rebounds.
Paul Pierce (Bos) had 20 points on 6-18 FG and 6-10 FT, 8 rebounds, and 6
assists.
Kendrick Perkins (Bos) had 14 points, 10 rebounds, and 5 blocks.
Rasheed Wallace (Bos, sore left foot) did not play.

Uta 97, Cle 96  at Uta
Carlos Boozer (Uta) had 19 points including 6-18 FG, 13 rebounds, and 6
assists.
Mehmet Okur (Uta) had 13 points and 8 rebounds.
Sundiata Gaines (Uta) had 9 points including 3-3 FG and the game winning
3-pointer at the buzzer [his first NBA 3-pointer].
LeBron James (Cle) had 36 points ion 12-20 FG, 4-6 3-pointers, and 8-12
FT, 9 rebounds, 6 assists, 5 steals, and 5 turnovers.
Delonte West (Cle) had 11 points including 3-3 3-pointers.
