News from October 8.

The NBA suspended Jamaal Magloire (Mia) for 2 games for starting a fight
and striking Jonas Jerebko (Det) in the face during Monday's Mia-Det game.
Jerebko was suspended for 1 game for retaliating and hitting Magloire in
the face.  The suspensions will be served at the start of the regular
season (or first regular season game that either is on a NBA roster if 
they are cut before the season starts).

The LA Clippers released Taj Gray.

Miami released Alade Aminu and Andre Brown.

Indiana signed Demetris Nichols on Sept. 30.  [Think I now got all the
training camp signees.]

Rimantas Kaukenas (Mad) had 14 points.
