TRADE: Washington traded Quinton Ross to New Jersey for Yi Jianlian and $3
million.

Dirk Nowitzki (Dal) elected to opt-out of his contract and, thus, is a
free agent.

Yao Ming (Hou) elected not to opt-out of his contract and, thus, remains
signed through 10-11.

Kris Humphries (NJ) elected not to opt-out of his contract and, thus,
remains signed through 10-11.

Miami reached a buyout agreement with James Jones and released him.

Portland released Ryan Gomes.
