News from January 18.

The NBA named as Russell Westbrook (OKC) and Derrick Rose (Chi) as Players
of the Week.  Westbrook averaged 27.5 points, 9 rebounds, and 13 assists
as Oklahoma City went 2-0.  Rose averaged 27.3 points, 5.3 rebounds, and
6.8 assists as Chicago went 3-1.

Atlanta signed Damien Wilkins to a 2nd 10-day contract.

Golden State named Troy Wenzel as trainer.

Charlotte activated Sherron Collins and placed Eduardo Najera on IL.

Atlanta activated Jordan Crawford and placed Etan Thomas on IL.

Miami activated LeBron James and placed Chris Bosh (sprained left ankle)
on IL.

Josh Smith (Atl) had 15 points including 6-18 FG, 12 rebounds, and 3
steals.
Joe Johnson (Atl) had 19 points including 8-24 FG, 5 rebounds, and 10
assists.

LeBron James (Mia) had 34 points on 11-30 FG and 10-11 FT, 10 rebounds, 7
assists, and 6 turnovers.
Dwyane Wade (Mia) had 27 points including 11-12 FT, 6 rebounds, and 6
turnovers.
Atl shot 10-14 FT and Mia shot 26-29 FT.
