Oklahoma City signed Russell Westbrook to a 5 year, $80 million contract
extension.

Kwame Brown (GS) underwent surgery on his chest to repair a torn right
pectoralis muscle.  He is expected to be out at least 3 months.

Houston activated Hasheem Thabeet and placed Jordan Hill on IL.

Miami activated Eddy Curry and Dexter Pittman and placed Dwyane Wade
(sprained right ankle) and Mickell Gladness on IL.
