News from January 24.

Washington fired head coach Flip Saunders.  Randy Wittman was named as
head coach for the rest of the season.

Memphis picked up their 12-13 option for Quincy Pondexter.

New Orleans exercised their 12-13 options for Xavier Henry and Greivis
Vasquez.

Damion James (NJ) underwent surgery on his right foot to replace a screw
inserted in a surgery in 2010.  He is out for the season.

Luol Deng (Chi) is out indefinitely with a torn ligament in his left
wrist.

D.J. Augustin (Cha) is expected to be out 4 games with a right toe injury.

San Antonio announced that they will retire Bruce Bowen's #12 on March 23.

Toronto activated Andrea Bargnani and placed Jamaal Magloire on IL.

Cleveland activated Christian Eyenga and placed Tristan Thompson on IL.
Eyenga was recalled from the NBADL.

New York activated Jeremy Lin and placed Josh Harrelson on IL.  Lin was
recalled from the NBADL.
