Golden State claimed Ish Smith off waivers after Memphis released him.

New Orleans re-signed Jason Smith to a 3 year, $7.5 million contract.

New Orleans signed Lance Thomas, Justin Dentmon, Cardell Johnson, Moses
Ehambe, Brian Butch, Jerome Dyson, DaJuan Summers, and Terrico White to 
their training camp roster.

San Antonio re-signed Steve Novak.

San Antonio signed 1st round draft pick (#29) Cory Joseph to a 2 year,
$2,133,960 contract with 2 more years worth $3,317,193 at the team's
option.

Utah signed Washington free agent Josh Howard to a 1 year contract.

Washington re-signed Maurice Evans to a 1 year contract.

Chicago released Keith Bogans and Jannero Pargo.

Eduardo Najera (Cha) underwent surgery on his left knee to repair torn
cartilage and is expected to be out 6 to 8 weeks.

Reggie Williams (Cha) is expected to be out 6 to 8 weeks with a torn
meniscus.

Miami signed head coach Eric Spolstra to a contract extension.
