News from December 17.

Detroit re-signed Rodney Stuckey to a 3 year, $25 million contract.

Houston signed 2nd round draft pick (#38) Chandler Parsons.

The LA Lakers signed Boston free agent Troy Murphy to a 1 year, minimum 
contract.

Milwaukee signed Darrington Hobson, Ron Howard, and Marcus Lewis to their
training camp roster.

New Orleans re-signed Marco Belineli to the 1 year, $3.38 qualifying
offer.

New York signed Devin Green and Chris Hunter to their training camp
roster.

San Antonio signed Franklin Hassell, Luke Zeller, and Doug Thomas to their
training camp roster.

Sacramento claimed Travis Outlaw off waivers after New Jersey had used the
amnesty clause and released him.  Reports are that Sacramento's winning
bid for Outlaw was $3 million (with New Jersey having to pay the
difference between Outlaw's old salary and new salary).
[Note the deadline for teams to use this amnesty clause prior to the 11-12
season has passed.  Teams that have not used the amnesty clause may use it
next summer.]

Washington released Mardy Collins and Aaron Pettway.

The LA Lakers assigned Andrew Goudelock and Malcolm Thomas to the NBADL.

Jeff Green (Bos) is expected to be out for the season after undergoing
heart surgery to repair an aortic aneurysm.
