pick to Boston for the rights to 2004 2nd round pick Albert Miralles (who
is playing in Europe).

TRADE: In a sign-and-trade, Boston re-signed Glen Davis to a 4 year
contract and then traded him to Orlando for Brandon Bass.

Brandon Roy (Por) announced his retirement from the NBA due to a knee
injury.

Eric Bledsoe (LAC) is out while recovering from surgery on his right knee
on October 7 to repair torn cartilage.

Martell Webster (Min) is out indefinitely while recovering from
microdiscetomy surgery on his back on September 28.

LaMarcus Aldridge (Por) underwent a heart procedure for
Wolff-Parkinson-White Syndrome (irregular heartbeat) and is expected to be
out 10 days.  He was diagnosed with the syndrome in 2007.

[Note the listings of training camp signings are likely to 1 year,
minimum, non-guaranteed contracts and most of the players will be released
before the season starts.]

[Note the 2010-11 salary numbers are being used for 2011 1st round draft
pick contracts (as Larry Coon said that the new collective bargaining
agreement will "freeze the minimum salary scale and the rookie salary
scale at or near their 2010-11 levels").]

[The reported Tyson Chandler signing with New York ended up being a
sign-and-trade that was completed on Saturday (and, thus, will be in the
Dec. 10 report).]
