New York activated Jared Jeffries and placed Jeremy Lin (left knee
surgery) on IL.

Orlando activated Jameer Nelson and placed Quentin Richardson on IL.

Fab Melo (sophomore, Syracuse, center) declared himself eligible for the
NBA draft.
