The NBA named Kobe Bryant (LAL) and Dwyane Wade (Mia) as Players of the
Week.  Bryant averaged 33 points, 5.8 rebounds, and 8.8 assists as the LA
Lakers went 3-1.  Wade averaged 25.3 points, 5 assists, and 3.5 steals as
Miami went 4-0.

Boston signed D.J. White to a 2nd 10-day contract.

Kyrie Irving (Cle) is expected to be out 3 to 4 weeks with a sprained left
shoulder.

New York activated Carmelo Anthony.

Utah placed Jamaal Tinsley on IL.
