News from June 30.

Ben Gordon (Cha) elected not to opt-out of his contract and, thus remains
with Charlotte.

Brandon Rush (GS), Richard Jefferson (GS), and Andris Biedrins (GS)
elected not to opt-out of their contracts and, thus, remain with Golden
State.

Jerryd Bayless (Mem) elected not to opt-out of his contract and, thus,
remains with Memphis.

Mareese Speights (Cle) elected to opt-out of his contract and, thus, is a
free agent.

Boston released Terrence Williams.

Houston released Carlos Delfino and Aaron Brooks.

New York released James White.

Denver extended a qualifying offer to Timofey Mozgov, making him a
restricted free agent.

The NBA free agency period starts at midnight (Eastern Time) on July 1.
All 12-13 contracts formally come to an end and teams may start
negotiating with free agents - but can not sign them until the July
Moratorium ends on July 10 (though teams may sign rookie draft picks).
