The NBA fined Dwight Howard (Hou) $25,000 for tossing the ball into the
stands (and at a fan) during Wednesday's Dal-Hou game.

Matt Barnes (LAC) is expected to undergo surgery on his left eye to repair
a retinal tear and is expected to be out at least 2 weeks.

Sacramento assigned Ray McCallum to the NBADL.

Chicago placed Jimmy Butler on IL.
