Brooklyn released D.J. White.

Orlando signed Detroit free agent Jason Maxiell to a 2 year, $5 million
contract.

Sacramento signed 2nd round draft pick (#36) Ray McCallum.

The NBA Board of Governors approved the name change of the Charlotte
Bobcats to the Charlotte Hornets, the change will take place starting with 
the 14-15 season.  [Note that the New Orleans Hornets (now New Orleans 
Pelicans) originally were located in Charlotte.]

The NBA Board of Governors approved the following changes to the insstant
replay rules:
  - when reviewing a block/charge, the refs can change the call if the
    defender is outside the restricted area but not set when the offensive
    player began his upward motion
  - to determine if an off the ball foul occurred before or after a player
    has started his shooting motion on a made basket
  - to determine if an off the ball foul occurred before or after the ball
    was released on a throw-in
  - during any review, the refs can assess appropriate penalties of any
    unsportsmanlike play observed during the replay
In addition, a modified rule of the clear path fouls is that it will no 
longer be a clear path foul if at any point before the foul is committed
the defender who commits the foul is ahead of the offensive player in the
front court.  And a team on offense will loss possession if a player
leaves the floor and does not immediately return, unless he is injured or
trying to save the ball or other extenuating circumstances.
