News from September 6.

The NBA suspended J.R. Smith for 5 games for violating the NBA anti-drug
program.  The suspension will start with the regular season when he is 
on the active roster (he is recovering from off-season left knee surgery).

Oklahoma City released DeAndre Liggins.
