The NBA announced that Charlotte will host the 2017 NBA All-Star game.

Cleveland exercised their 15-16 option for Timofey Mozgov.

Goran Dragic (Mia) elected to opt-out of his contract and, thus, is a free
agent.

Raymond Felton (Dal) elected not to opt-out of his contract and, thus,
remains signed through 15-16.

Thaddeus Young (Bro) elected to opt-out of his contract and, thus, is a
free agent.

Brooklyn made a qualifying offer to Mirza Teletovic, making him a
restricted free agent.

NBA statistical pioneer Harvey Pollack died at age 93.  He joined the
Philadelphia Warriors in 1946 (at the time in the Basketball Association
of America, which would later merge with another league to form the NBA)
and head been working in some capacity with the NBA ever since, including
the last 28 years with the Philadelphia 76ers as director of statistical
information.
