Chicago signed 1st round draft pick (#14) Denzel Valentine to a 2 year,
$4,278,600 contract with 2 more years worth $5,658,169 at the team's 
option.

Memphis signed 1st round draft pick (#17) Wade Baldwin to a 2 year,
$3,668,160 contract with 2 more years worth $4,958,286 at the team's 
option.

The LA Clippers released Branden Dawson.

Nate Thurmond died at age 74 of lukemia.  The Hall of Famer played 14
seasons in the NBA from 63-64 - 76-77, mostly with the San
Francisco/Golden State Warriors.
