News from January 23. The NBA announced the reserves for the All-Star game. The reserves were selected by coaches in each conference who were asked to select 2 guards, 3 front court players, and 2 from any position (and could not vote for players on their own team). The All-Star game will take place February 18 in Los Angeles. In a new format, instead of the East playing the West, as top fan voters for each conference LeBron James (Cle) and Stephen Curry (GS) are the captains of the two teams and each will select their teams from first the starters and then the reserves with James picking first as having received more votes. The rosters for each team will be announced January 25.
