>From the Dallas Morning News.

2/27 Glen Rice and Miami have reached an greement on a 5 year contract
estimated at $4.3 million per year. Miami has an option for a 6th
year.

2/27 When informed that fans at the Sports Arena were circulating a
2/27 Dan Issell, Denver head coach, when asked if a victory over the
Bulls in Chicago meant the Nuggets had turned the corner:
"We've turned more corners this season than a New York cab driver."

3/2 If you think all Dallas residents are happy with the move of the
Minnesota Stars (NHL) to Dallas, think again. The Stars just signed a
3 year agreement with radio station WBAP starting next season. This
means that this will be the last season the Maverick games will be
broadcast on WBAP. The Mavericks' games have been broadcast on the
50,000 watt powerhouse for 14 season - since the team's first year.
As WBAP is the most powerful station in Dallas, fans as far away as
Chicago, Indiana, and Kentucky probably will no longer be able to
listen to Mavs games. The Mavs are still deciding on their new home
station.
