remainder of the season due to a sprain of his lower right leg.

4/10 John Salley (Mia): "I like pressure.  Pressure is what
creates diamonds."

4/10 Elmore Spencer (LAC) forgot to set his clock ahead for
Daylight Savings Time and arrived moments before the game against
Houston.  Loy Vaught started in his place.

4/16 Magic Johnson has announced that he will not coach the
Lakers next season.  

4/17 Tom Gugliotta (Was) on the Bullets' season: "We're not
helping our future because we don't play like a team.  If we go
out and play like a team and lose, that's one thing.  But we're
not developing any kind of chemistry whatsoever.  It's
depressing."

4/17 Charles Barkley (Pho) on the Suns' lost the Sacramento: "All
I know is that this team should not ever beat us.  Ever.  If we
played them 100 times, we should beat them 100 times."

4/17 Portland coach Rick Adelman on Portland's lost to Dallas:
"At least we won't have to play them (Dallas) in the playoffs. 
That's a good sign."

4/17 Sacramento coach Garry St. Jean's job is apparently safe. 
Team owner Jim Thomas said, "He's got the contract, and I don't
like to waste money."
