The NBA named Scottie Pippen (Chi) as Player of the Month for December.  
Pippen averaged 25.5 points, 7 rebounds, 6 assists, and 2.4 steals as 
Chicago went 13-1.

The NBA named Joe Smith (GS) as Rookie of the Month for December.  Smith
averaged 14.5 points, 6.4 rebounds, and 1.9 blocks.
