Scott Burrell on IR.

Houston placed Mark Bryant on IR with a pulled left groin muscle.

Indiana released Damon Bailey.

Philadelphia released Rick Brunson.

San Antonio placed Carl Herrera on IR.

Toronto released Andres Guibert, Chris Whitney, and Dwayne Whitfield.

Washington placed Chris Webber on IR.

Boston released Fred Vinson and placed Pervis Ellison (sore left knee)
on IR.

Dallas placed Donald Hodge on IR and placed Roy Tarpley on the suspended
list.  Tarpley has yet to pass his physical and must complete a timed
conditioning test.

The LA Clippers released Ma Jian and placed Pooh Richardson on IR.

The LA Lakers placed Eddie Jones on IR with a injured left thumb.

Miami placed Rex Chapman and Ronnie Grandison on IR.

Milwaukee released Mike Peplowski and signed Terry Cummings to a 1 year 
contract.

New Jersey placed Derrick Coleman, Robert Werdann, and Sean Higgins on IR.

Vancouver placed Gerald Wilkins, Doug Edwards, and Rich Manning on IR.

Chicago placed James Edwards (lower back) and Jack Haley (tendinitis in
left knee) on IR.
