Chicago placed Jason Caffey on IR.

The NBA and the refs signed a new contract on Thursday and the real refs
will return to action on Tuesday.

Long time ref Jake O'Donnell will not be amongst those returning.  He
announced his retirement.  O'Donnell had reffed for 28 NBA season in over
2,100 regular season games and 279 playoff games.

The LA Lakers will retire James Worthy's #42 on Sunday during halftime of
the Detroit-Lakers game.

Utah placed Jamie Watson (left ankle) on IR and signed Howard Eisley (G).

Philadelphia placed Sean Higgins (sprained left thumb) on IR and signed
Trevor Wilson (F).
