It is believed that Mitch Richmond (Sac) and Charles Barkley (Pho) have
been selected to the final two spots for the USA men's Olympic Team (aka
Dream Team III).  The selection committee made their decision Thursday,
but the official announcement of who was selected will be made Sunday on
NBC.

The NBA fined Horace Grant (Orl) $5,000 and suspended him for 1 game for
punching Danny Ferry (Cle) during Wednesday's Orl-Cle game.

Detroit released Mark Macon.

Gheorghe Muresan (Was) will miss the remainder of the season with a torn
medial collatral ligament and a partial tear of medial meniscus cartilage
in his right knee.  No surgery will be required, but he is expected to
take 6 weeks to recover.  The injury occurred during Wednesday's Was-Bos
game.
